Labelling Requirements for the Host device
The host device shall be properly labelled to identify the modules within the host device. The certification label of the
module shall be clearly visible at all times when installed in the host device, otherwise the host device must be labelled
to display the FCC ID and IC of the module, preceded by the words "Contains transmitter module", or the word
"Contains", or similar wording expressing the same meaning, as follows:
Contains FCC ID: 2ARNH-15351660 (AC4490 RF module)
2ARNH-1535166A (CC1120 RF module)
Contains IC: 24476-15351660 (AC4490 RF module)
24476-1535166A (CC1120 RF module)
CAN ICES-3 (B) / NMB-3 (B)
This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.
Cet appareil numérique de classe B est conforme à la norme canadienne ICES-003.
Use of Tablet or Handheld devices on the bench with the DigiShot Ranger control equipment
The table below is to be used as a guide for the recommended minimum operational and safety distances of the
DetNet electronic blasting systems and detonators. This will apply for transmitters up to 100W power output within
the frequency range of 150KHz to 6GHz. These are general recommendations and specific frequencies can be tested
for on request if shorter distances are required. The 10V/m and 30V/m field strengths are based on ARP 1717 and
EN13762-27 specifications. Protection against Electrostatic Discharge immunity (ESD) of the detonator and DetNet
equipment were tested with reference to the Human Static mode and the required standards.
All DetNet equipment complies with the required standards: ARP 1717, EN 13763-27 for Initiation Devices and
Initiation Device Systems.
