Maintenance Tables - 93K218(CJ-4)
NOTE: Actual fuel filter life will vary based on fuel quality.
NOTE: Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and the Selective Catalytic
Reduction (SCR Catalyst) do not require maintenance. (Does not apply to
EPA07)
93K218(CJ-4) Oil Service Interval Definitions (applies to the following tables):
Severe service applies to vehicles that annually travel up to 48,000 kilometers
(30,000 miles) and average less than 5 miles per gallon or that operate under severe
conditions.
Short Haul service applies to vehicles that annually travel up to 48,000 to 96,000
kilometers (30,000 to 60,000 miles) and average between 5.1 and 5.9 miles per
gallon.
Long Haul service (over-the-road transport) applies to vehicles that annually travel
more than 96,000 kilometers (60,000 miles) and average greater than 6 miles per
gallon with minimal city stop-and-go operation.
