1.4 INSTALLATION OF THE ROCKER COVER

5. Install the two air ﬁlter brackets (2) (if equipped), onto the rocker cover and torque the

eight nuts to 20 N·m (14 lb·ft).

ENGINE EXHAUST

To avoid injury from inhaling engine exhau st, always

operate the engine in a well-venti

lated area. Engine

exhaust is toxic.

6. Start the engine and check f

or leaks.
