ENGINE MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER D ESIGNATION
The engine serial numb er and model
number are laser etched on the
cylinder block on the left side just
below the intake manifold and above
the cast-in Detroit Diesel logo (as
viewed from the flywheel end).
