TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM
Motor will not start and there is no
humming sound
Power source circuit continues to
trip or blow fuses
Motor hums but will not start
Unit does not reach required
pressure
Unit cycles automatically withouttrig-
gering the gun.
Continuous tripping of a G.F.C.I.
circuit.
No detergent suction.
Not plugged in.
"RESET" button on GFCI not pushed.
Circuit breaker has tripped or fuse
is blown.
Incorrect voltage.
Damaged cord.
Too much load already on
circuit.
Extension cord is too long or of
improper gauge, causing voltage
drop.
Pump is stuck due to dirt,
mineral build up, or ice.
Motor malfunction
Restricted, or insufficient water
supply.
Clogged nozzle.
Water leak in high pressure fittings,
hose, or gun.
Unit could have an electrical short.
Incorrect nozzle.
Suction filter clogged.
Damaged detergent hose.
Plug in.
Push "RESET" button.
Reset breaker or replace fuse.
Check whether the voltage
shown on the specifications
chart corresponds to that of
the power source.
Inspect all cords for signs of
damage.
Reduce load on circuit.
Try another G.F.C.I. circuit.
Operate unit on its own branch
circuit (15A) free of any other
loads.

(See page 6).
Unplug unit. If temp is below
freezing do not use. Thaw in a
warm area.
Take to authorized service
center (See back cover).
Check supply hose, faucet and
inlet screen. Must be connected
to water source which provides
1.7 gal. water per minute.*
See Maintenance (page 8).
New gun/hose assembly.
Take to nearest Authorized
Warranty Service Center.
Use detergent nozzle.
Clean Filter
Inspect hose for cracks, holes,
or kinks.
REMEDYCAUSE
*Flow rate can be determined by running the water from garden hose for one minute into an empty 5-gallon
container.
