DeVILBISS® PRODUCT WARRANTY
Warranty on Hardware Products
DeVilbiss warrants to the original Purchaser that all products supplied hereunder and bearing its
name will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a
period of twelve (12) months from the date of sale. As Purchaser's sole remedy for breach of this
warranty, DeVilbiss will repair, labor included, or replace any part or product proven to be
defective. This warranty applies only when the equipment is installed, operated and maintained
in accordance with DeVilbiss' written recommendations. Products claimed to be defective must
be returned, freight prepaid, to a designated DeVilbiss Authorized Warranty Repair Center.
Repair part will be warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of shipment to original
Purchaser. Repairs or replacements to original equipment shall not renew or extend the warranty
of such equipment.
The Purchaser will pay to the repair center, at their prevailing prices and rates for parts and
services which (i) fall in the general category of normal maintenance; (ii) are needed to make
additions or modifications requested by the Purchaser; or (iii) are needed to make repairs not
covered by this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear, and DeVilbiss shall not be liable for, any
malfunction, damage or wear caused by faulty installation, misapplication, abrasion, corrosion,
inadequate or improper maintenance, negligence, accident, tampering, or substitution of non-
DeVilbiss component parts. Nor shall DeVilbiss be liable for malfunction, damage, or wear
caused by the incompatibility with DeVilbiss equipment of structures, accessories, equipment or
materials not supplied by DeVilbiss, or the improper design, manufacture, installation, operation
or maintenance of structures, accessories, products or materials not supplied by DeVilbiss.
NO CLAIM OF ANY KIND, WHETHER AS TO PRODUCTS DELIVERED OR FOR NON-
DELIVERY OF PRODUCTSS, SHALL BE GREARTER IN AMOUNT THAN THE
PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS IN RESPECT OF WHICH SUCH DAMAGES ARE
CLAIMED. THE REMEDY PROVIDED FOR HEREIN SHALL BE EXCLUSIVE AND THE
SOLE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER. ANY RIGHT OF PURCHASER TO
CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES IS EXCLUDED.
THE FORGOING WARRANTY FOR HARDWARE PRODUCTS IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN
LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF QUALITY OR PERFORMANCE, EXPRESSED,
IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Items sold but not manufactured by DeVilbiss
are subject to the warranty, if any, of their manufacturer.
