C SPINDLE LOCK The spindle lock (C) is provided to prevent the spindle from rotating when installing or removing wheels. Operate the spindle lock only when the tool is turned off, unplugged from the power supply, and has come to a complete stop. Do not engage the spindle lock while the tool is operating because damage to the tool will result.

Mounting and Using Cutting (Type 1) Wheels Cutting wheels include diamond wheels and abrasive discs. Abrasive cutting wheels for metal and concrete use are available. Diamond blades for concrete cutting can also be used. NOTE: All grinders that use Type 1 wheels use the quick-change backing flange (G1). WARNING: A closed, 2-sided cutting wheel guard is not included with this tool (D28140, D28144, D28144N ONLY) and is required when using cutting wheels.

No se debe poder P girar el protector manualmente cuando el cerrojo está cerrado. Si el giro es posible, apriete el tornillo de ajuste (P) con la palanca de la abrazadera en la posición de cerrado. No haga funcionar la esmeriladora con un protector flojo o con la palanca de la abrazadera en la posición de abierta. 5.
3. Instale la tuerca de fijación roscada con la sección elevada (piloto) en dirección opuesta al disco. 4. Oprima el botón de bloqueo del eje y ajuste la tuerca de fijación con una llave. 5. Para retirar el disco, tómelo y gírelo mientras oprime el botón de bloqueo del eje. si no se eliminan. Se recomienda utilizar un interruptor de corte por falla a tierra (GFCI) para proteger aún más al usuario contra descarga eléctrica, resultante de la acumulación de partículas conductoras.
