Adjusting Blower Speed (Fig. J)
The DCBL777 is equipped with a speed indicator

. The speed
indicator
7
will display the chosen speed of the blower. There
are three speed setting LEDs, ECOmode
21
(white LED),
standard mode
22
(orange LED) and turbo mode
23
(red
LED). The speed indicator
7
helps you to optimize the tool's
performance and runtime needed for each job.
1. To set the blower speed, switch the bloweron by briefly
squeezing the variablespeedtrigger
1
.
2. Press the speed button

, located on the tool handle,
until the desired speed LED is illuminated.
NOTE: ECO mode
21
(white LED), standard mode
22
(orange LED) or turbo mode
23
(red LED).
NOTE: The blower defaults to ECO mode
21
(white LED).
3. Operate in ECO mode
21
(white LED) or standard
mode
22
(orange LED) speed for most blowing needs.
NOTE: Longer runtime will be achieved.
4. Choose turbo mode

(red LED) as needed to clear
heavydebris.
NOTE: Runtime will be reduced.

3. To lock the blower on, fully depress the

is not intended to function
as a lock-off button for the variable speedtrigger

4. To unlock and stop the blower, press and release the
trigger switch

5. To turn the blower off, press and hold the speed

as shown in Fig.J, or after sitting idle for 20
seconds the blower will automatically power off.

Grip tool firmly when switching on.
CAUTION: Do not point unit discharge at
self orbystanders.
CAUTION: Always wear safety glasses and
hearing protection. Wear a filter mask if the operation
is dusty. Use of gloves, long pants and substantial
footwear is recommended. Keep long hair and loose
clothing away from openings and movingparts.

State of Charge Indicator (Fig. A, C)
The DCBL777 is equipped with a state of charge indicator

.
This will display the current level of charge in the battery
during use. It does not indicate tool functionality and
is subject to variation based on product components,
temperature and end-userapplication.
The state of charge indicator LEDs
6
will illuminate,
indicating the percent of charge in the battery.
When all four state of charge indicator LEDs
6
illuminate,
the battery is fully charged.
When one state of charge indicator LED
6
illuminates,
charge is low and then it will flash when the battery
isdischarged. Remove thebattery and charge it.
