Adhesive strip INTENDED USE The DeWALT Bluetooth® radio adapter is designed to enable a worksite radio or other audio device to accept a Bluetooth® signal from a mobile phone or other device with Bluetooth® audio functionality.
English Charging the Adapter The DCR002 has an internal, non-removable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device as you may damage the device. To charge the unit, connect the USB charging cable into the charging port (c) on the unit and then plug it in to an appropriate USB port. Longest life and best performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the air temperature is between 18° and 24 °C (65 °F –75 °F).
English 3. Activate the Bluetooth® search function of your audio device or mobile phone. Once the adapter is found (will appear as: DeWALT Adapter DCR002) confirm pairing on your device. Once pairing is successful the rapid red/blue flashing of the LED will cease and the indicator will flash blue once every 5 seconds. If paired successfully, your audio device should now be able to connect with the adapter. Consult with your device’s owners manual for details on pairing and connecting.
English Important Bluetooth® Adapter Notes 1. When receiving a phone call on a mobile phone which is streaming to the Bluetooth® adapter, the music will automatically pause. 2. The unit can be used while charging, but if the charging connection is established while in use, plugging in the unit will turn it off and the unit will need to be turned back on and possibly reconnected. 2. Optimum Bluetooth® streaming range is roughly 9 m (line of sight) to the adapter but distances up to 30 m are possible.
English Cleaning Warning: Never use solvents or other harsh chemicals for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the unit. These chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts. Use a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let any liquid get inside the unit; never immerse any part of the Bluetooth® radio adapter into a liquid.
