Determine the distance between each stud, for
example, 12".

screen is set to the distance from the right edge
of one stud to the left edge of the next (e.g., 12")

Press to start measuring the distance as
you slowly move the tool to the right.

Continue moving the tool to the right until the

Using a pencil, mark the location where the left
edge of the stud should be nailed into the wall
frame.
12.
Nail the left edge of the stud at the marked
location.
13.
For each remaining stud in the wall frame, repeat
steps 7-12 (Figure

If you need to determine the angle at which
something is positioned, use the tool to measure that
angle (Figure

1.
Point the tool's laser (Figure

or object, and not toward anyone's eyes.
