line and ends are securely attached to fittings.

needle may be

Remove float bowl and clean thoroughly. Remove
float needle and clean needle and bore where
itlocates.Reassembleandcheck.Ifstillleaks,
replace carburetor. Refer to Carburetor under
Breakdowns.
Carburetor floods
while transporting
Fuel valve must always be placed into the OFF
position when transporting.

Gas should not be above shoulders of debris

asmallamountofgaswillleakifunitistippedata
steep angle and held there. If a large amount of gas
leaks,ensuretherubbergasketundercapispres-
entandthematingsurfaceofthetankissmooth
and flat. If >0.1 mm feeler gauge can fit under
straightedgeatanypoint,replacetank.
