Remove all dirt and debris found in the tank. The
vacuum requires only a minimum of conversion when
going from dry to wet pick up. Remove the dry use
lter from the vacuum. A clean cartridge lter may be
used for vacuuming small amounts of liquids. For
best results when vacuuming large quantities of
liquid, remove the cartridge lter. When vacuuming
liquids containing debris, it is recommended to
purchase a foam lter and install over the lter cage.
The foam lter may be purchased by visiting our
website at www.dewalt.com, contacting our
customer service department, or purchasing at the
local D
EWALT distributor. When picking up large
amounts of liquid, it is recommend to remove the
cartridge lter. If the lter is not removed, it will
become saturated and misting may appear in the
exhaust.
At this time, you should dry or replace the cartridge
lter to eliminate the misting and possible dripping of
liquid around the lid.
