Instructions for Installing SCR Cabinet

Follow instructions sent with standard cabinets
for preparing and marking the walls for cabinet
installation. Install all wall cabinets before
installing the SCR corner cabinet.

After attaching the countertop support
to the wall, place the SCR cabinet and
the adjoining cabinets into position.
Use the standard cabinet installation
instructions for properly installing
these cabinets.
Note: It is recommended that you
fasten at least one base cabinet in both
directions to the SCR cabinet.
If there is a gap between the
cabinet face frame and the countertop,
it is recommended that you fasten the
face frame to the countertop.
Installation of a SCR cabinet requires a
countertop support attached to the wall.
Apply a 1x2 or 1x3 wood strip to the wall
at the predetermined reference line for
base cabinets. Apply the wood strip to
both corner walls at right angles. They
should be screwed or nailed to the wall
studs to provide adequate support for your
new countertop.
