1.1 OVERVIEW
CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION
The FirstVu PRO body camera is a wearable device capable
of recording video, audio, taking snapshots, and advanced
features like streaming video. The FirstVu PRO is designed

enforcement interacting with the public to capture a user’s
point of view and provide a record of the event.
1.2 CHARGING
Charging is done through the USB Type-C connector. Open the
rubber cover to access the USB Type-C connector. Replace the
rubber cover when done – needed for sealing the body camera
from possible water damage.
The body camera can be charged using the AC/DC adapter or the
docking station. Charge times vary.
AC/DC adapter – 3 HOURS
QuickVu 24 Docking Station – 4 HOURS
QuickVu 8 Docking Station – 6 HOURS
1.3 SIM CARD INSTALLATION
The body camera can be connected to a cellular network. If a
SIM Card needs to be replaced or installed:
A nano SIM Card is required.
Using the ejector pin, the tray can be removed to seat and install
the Nano SIM card.
STEPS:
1. Open the SIM tray with the ejector tool.
2. Insert the SIM card into the tray.
3. Install the SIM tray.

1.4 MOUNTING CLIP INSTALLATION
The body camera has a molded clip housing allowing for the use

be attached as shown below.
INSTALLATION STEPS:
Orient the wide fabric clip as shown and push the clip into the molded
clip housing. A click will be heard when the clip is fully seated.
To remove the wide fabric clip, press the spring clip and pull the wide
fabric clip vertically from the molded clip housing.
