Power Down Sequence
To power down the DACS, perform the following procedure:
• Move to the Model Builder Main Menu by pressing [esc] from each lower menu or display.
• Select the ‘Quit’ option to exit the Model Builder environment and return to the DOS
prompt.
• Wait several seconds while the DACS stores any recorded information still in cache mem-
ory to the hard disk.
• Switch off the DACS using the ON/OFF rocker or push-button switch located on the front
of the chassis.
• Ensure that all externally connected equipment is powered down as required.
DACS Software
Software Structure
The DACS hard disk directory structure may vary from system to system depending on software
revision levels and DACS configuration. A typical directory structure is shown below. This direc-
tory structure is formed during the DACS software installation process.
The directory structure is as follows:
