• Remove replacement card from anti-static bag.

• Set the jumpers and the positions of the rotary switches to the same settings as the old card.

Improper settings will prevent the system from working properly.

• Insert the card in the slot that was occupied by the old card.

• Reinstall the ribbon cable, if there was one. Make sure it is attached to the same cards that it

was before.

• Secure the card by screwing the retaining bracket to the chassis.

• Reinstall the DACS chassis cover on the system put the screws back into place.

• Reinstall all cables.

• Perform power up sequence described in Chapter 4, DACS Operation.
