Micro-Star 6163 BXMaster BIOS Setup

1. Do not plug the IDE cable into the blue connectors, which are for the on-board Promise

ATA66 connectors. ASTi does not use these connectors.

2. A voltage display may come up on boot. This is normal.

3. After boot, a message indicating that the Ultra66 BIOS is detecting drives, followed by a

pause. Then, the message “Ultra66 BIOS is not installed” will be displayed. This is also nor-

mal.

• Load Setup default. Under each category, set the following:

• Standard CMOS Setup

Primary Drive: Auto, LBA

Halt on: No Errors

• CPU Plug & Play III

CPU Speed: 600MHz (100x6)

• PNP/PCI Conﬁguration

Resources Controlled by: Manual

IRQ3: PCI/ISA PNP

IRQ4: PCI/ISA PNP

IRQ10: Legacy ISA

Assign IRQ for USB: Disabled

• Integrated Peripherals

Init Display First: AGP

• Power Management

Power Management: Disable

Modem use IRQ3: NA

Reserve IRQ9: No

• Save settings and exit.
