10.25 Feed Roller and Paper Pickup Sensor (PS13) Assembly

Use the following procedure to remove and replace the feeder assembly rollers:

Caution: Use the standard antistatic equipment and procedures when you

handle this sensitive electronic component.

1. Remove the following components:

a. EP-L cartridge, as shown in Section 10.13

b. Upper cover, as shown in Section 10.2

c. Right and left side covers, as shown in Section 10.3

d. Drive assembly, as shown in Section 10.16

2. Remove the gear and bushing.

3. Wipe the grease from the end of the drive shaft.
