CAUTION

In a dual-redundant conﬁguration with cache modules, both cache

modules must have the same number of megabytes and both must be the

same cache type (both read or both write-back). The controller ﬁrmware

version must be the same for both controllers for proper operation of the

subsystem. When the ﬁrmware version and/or cache module sizes are

mismatched, the controllers detect the mismatch and do not allow access

to any devices.
