Extended Error Format:

This extended error message is returned by the DZ read LPR test or if a

character comparison error occurs in the other DZ tests. The second ﬁeld

(4-digit ﬁeld) is the extended error format.

Where:

• ssssssss - is the suberror code

• cccccccc - is the value of the DZ CSR

• lprlprlp - is the contents of the line parameter register

• llllllll - is the line number

• rrrrrrrr - is the data read back

• eeeeeeee - is the expected data

The extended error code returned by polled and interrupt test when a transfer

times out is in the following format:

001 000b ssssssss cccccccc lprlprlp llllllll xxxxxxxx tttttttt

Where:

• ssssssss - is the suberror code

• cccccccc - is the value of the DZ CSR

• lprlprlp - is the contents of the line parameter register

• llllllll - is the line number

• xxxxxxxx - is the number of characters transmitted

• tttttttt - is the value of the DZ transmit control register
