Mounting the CellComSL Series Communicator
2.1 Selecting a Location
Install the communicator away from metal objects. DO NOT MOUNT THE CELLCOMSL SERIES COMMUNICATOR
INSIDE OR ON A CONTROL PANEL METAL ENCLOSURE (SeeFigure6).
MountingthecommunicatoronornearmetalsurfacesimpairscellularandZ-Wavewirelessperformance.The
enclosure for the
c ommunicator should be mounted using the provided #6 screws in the four mounting holes
(SeeFigure7).Mounttheenclosureinasecure,dryplacetoprotectthecommunicatorfromdamagedueto
tampering or the elements. It is not necessary to remove the PCB when installing the enclosure.
