Output Options
12.1 Output Options
This section allows you to program

ommunicator outputoptions.SwitchedGround
(opencollector)outputsareavailableusingterminalsO1andO2asthegroundandyour
burglary
control panel
forpower.Selectfromoutputs1or2.
12.2 Cutoff Outputs
Thisoptionallowsyoutodenetheoperationofthetwoon-boardoutputs.Foreach
programmingoption,enterthenumberoftheoutputyouwishtoactivateor0(zero)for
nooutput.Eitherorbothoftheavailableoutputscanbeprogrammedheretoturnoff
afterthetimespeciedinOutputCutoffTime.Todisablethisoption,pressanySelect
keytoclearthedisplayofoutputnumbersandthenpressCOMMAND.
12.2.1 Output Cutoff Time
IfaCutoffOutputisassigned,youcanenteraCutoffTimefortheoutputtoremain
on up to 15 minutes. If the output is turned off manually, the cut off time is reset. The
CutoffTimecanbe1-15minutes.Enter0(zero)toprovidecontinuousoutput.
Note:Theoutputiscutoffwithin60secondsoftheprogrammedcutofftime.
The Cutoff Timer is shared by all outputs. If a second output trips, the timer is not
reset. Both outputs turn off when the original time expires.
12.3 Communication Failure Output
ThisOutput/Favoriteturnsonwhenthe

ommunicator fails to communicate with the
receiver.Enter0(zero)todisablethisoutput.ToturnofftheCommunicationFailure
Output,disarmthecommunicator.
Note:FavoritesareonlyavailableontheCellComSLCZCommunicator.
12.4 Armed Output
ThisOutput/Favoriteturnsonanytimeanareaofthesystemisarmed.Theoutputturns
offwhenthesystemcompletelydisarms.Enter0(zero)todisablethisoutput.
12.5 Remote Arming Output
WhenthesystemisarmedordisarmedremotelyfromtheVirtualKeypadApp,Virtual
KeypadBrowser,MyAccess™,RemoteLink™orfromaschedule,thisOutputturnson
momentaryfor.75secondsthenturnsoff.ThisOutputcanbeusedforpanelsthat
require a momentary short to an arming zone to arm and a momentary short to disarm.
12.6 Heat Saver Temperature (

EnterthedesiredtemperaturesettingforallZ-Wavethermostatswhenthesystem
isarmedALL.Whenthesystemisdisarmedthethermostatsreturntotheirprevious
settings.Therangeis55-95degrees.Enter0(zero)todisable.

EnterthedesiredtemperaturesettingforallZ-Wavethermostatswhenthesystem
isarmedALL.Whenthesystemisdisarmedthethermostatsreturntotheirprevious

This section allows you to assign functions to the burglary area of the communicator.
Allnon-24-hourzonesmustbeassignedtoanactivearea.Seesection14onZone

13.3 Area Name
Onlythoseareasgivennamescanhavezonesassignedtothem.Allothersaremarked
*UNUSED*.RefertotheEnteringAlphaCharacterssection.
Toaddanareanametothesystem,pressanySelectkeyandthenenterupto16
charactersforthenewname.PressCOMMANDtocontinue.
Tomarkanactiveareaasunused,deletetheoldnamebypressinganySelectkeythen
presstheCOMMANDkey.Thecommunicatorautomaticallysetsthenameas*UNUSED*.If
youhavealreadyInitializedthecommunicator,allareaswillbemarkedas*UNUSED*.
