Mounting the iComSL Series Communicator
2.1 Selecting a Location
Install the communicator away from metal objects. DO NOT MOUNT THE iCOMSL SERIES COMMUNICATOR INSIDE
OR ON A CONTROL PANEL METAL ENCLOSURE (SeeFigure5).

the c ommunicatorshouldbemountedusingtheprovided#6screwsinthefourmountingholes(SeeFigure6).
Mounttheenclosureinasecure,dryplacetoprotectthecommunicatorfromdamageduetotamperingorthe
elements. It is not necessary to remove the PCB when installing the enclosure.
Wheninstallingcomponentwires,caremustbetakentorouteallwiresinsuchamannerthattheywillnot
interferewiththeTamperswitch(SeeFigure7).
