 Devices that have this icon , are available for these Roles because layouts that contain such devices are
included in this Role.
4. Click Apply or OK. Now Role may be assigned to Users as any predefined-one. All Users that have this role will be
displayed in the Role Info tab.
Creating New User (Admin Only)
To create User:
1. Do one of the following:
 Open Main Menu and go to New –> User
 Right-Click on Users in Resources Tree and choose New.
 Open User and Roles Management Form and click New User.
2. Enter user settings:
 Login and Password – user credentials. IMPORTANT: login and password are case sensitive.
 Enabled – sets if the user is active.
 Email – this address will be used for E-Mail notifications. If it is not set the user will not be able to receive such
notifications. See "Mail Notifications".
 Access Rights – select a predefined role (see “Introducing User Roles”) or specify custom permissions (click
Advanced and tick desired-ones).
3. Click OK to create a user.
Once User is established, Layouts can be created and assigned to this User. See “Creating New Layout”.
