The MEGApix Camera is designed to be surface mounted on a wall
or ceiling.

Pressing the reset button on the camera’s control board for five (5) seconds will
initialize all environmental variables to factory default. Previous setup for IP default,
time, etcetera will be deleted. If a system IP address is lost, reset the camera back
to factory default.The following are the default network settings:

Mounting the Camera
1. Use the camera’s mounting template or the camera’s housing to mark the
drilling holes in the mountng surface.
2. Drill holes into the drywall using the included dry wall anchors.
3. Pull wires through and make connections. Refer to “Network Connection
for more information.
Mount the camera to the wall or ceiling using
the screws provided with the camera.
4. To adjust the camera’s pan and tilt,
loosen the Pan/ Tilt stopper screw a little
before mounting the camera.
5. Once the camera’s pan and tilt
angles have been adjusted, tighten
the Pan/Tilt stopper screw back to
secure the camera in its position.
6. When the installation is complete
and before powering the camera,
remove the protective cover sticker from
the camera’s vent hole. The vent hole is
located on the back of the camera, above
the reset button.

Before mounting the camera, please check the following:
1. The mounting surface must be able to sustain five times the weight of your
camera.
2. Do not let the cables get caught in improper locations or it can cause
damage to the cables.
!
IMPORTANT: Not removing the sticker from the camera’s
vent hole may result in the camera’s malfunction.

Please refer to the table below for the default camera settings.
You can reset the camera’s settings to its default color settings by
pressing the ‘Default’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Network Connection
There are two options.*
Using a Non-PoE Switch
Using a PoE-Enabled Switch
The MEGApix Camera is PoE-compliant, allowing transmission of power
and data via a single ethernet cable. Follow the illustrations below to
connect the camera to a PoE-enabled switch using an ethernet cable.
If a PoE-enabled switch is not used, use a power adaptor to connect the
MEGApix Camera to a Non-PoE switch.
