Hidden Camera Course
The course has 2 segments. Each segment consists of 30 hours, a total of 60 hours.
Each segment of the course is given by a specialist, and lasts 4 days.
The following subjects will be taught during the course:
• Acquaintance with a large variety of hidden cameras of
all kinds
• Technical information of each camera and the best
way to choose the right camera for the field job
• Technological changes and progress towards digital
mega pixel hidden cameras
• Combining hidden camera with night filming
besides IR lighting
• Tactical and professional considerations when
placing hidden cameras in changing field features
• Connecting hidden cameras to different recording methods
• Hidden camera electronics – different types of voltage and communication
connections
• Introduction to different types of lenses; the array of considerations for choosing the
right lens to perform the filming
• Installation of a hidden camera in an electrical appliance, communication box, in the
wall, and on a shirt
The course provides the students with an all-inclusive technical knowledge of the different
possibilities when choosing a camera before approaching the job of filming in the field. The
students will learn about the changes that the hidden cameras partook in the last years, and
will even apprehend what to expect in the near future, and what the future will possibly
provide.
The course provides practical and theoretical knowledge with basic connection of the hidden
camera in the field and the ways of placing it in order to achieve the goal of the filming in the
maximal way.
We will learn the most professional preferable combination between the hidden camera and
recording device. We will learn to choose the most convenient lens type, and will receive the
basic tools to place and install the hidden camera in a variety of means, such as walls,
electrical appliances, shirts etc. Furthermore we will receive the knowledge of the
electronics behind the hidden camera. The students will gain the basic knowledge in
connecting communication and voltage in order that the hidden camera will film the wanted
images in the field.
At the end of the class there is be an exam in which the students will be required to show
the theoretical and practical knowledge they obtained throughout the course.
