Steering Stem Removal
●Remove:
Speedometer Bracket Bolts [A]
Speedometer Bracket [B]
Handlebar Holder Bolts [C]
Handlebar [D]
Front Cover (see Frame Chapter)
●Remove:
Steering Clamp Bolts [A]
Steering Clamp Support Plate [B]
Steering Clamp [C]
Tie-Rod End Nuts [D]
Steering Stem Cotter Pin [E] and Nut [F]
Washer [G]
CAUTION
Do not loosen the locknut at the ends of the tie-rod
adjusting sleeve, or the toe-in of the front wheels will be
changed.
●Pull the steering stem out of the frame.
