Recycling
In accordance with European WEEE directives (2002/96/EC) and directives concerning accumulators (2006/66/EC),
any electrical or electronic device or accumulator must be collected separately by a local system specialising in
the collection of such waste. Do not dispose of these products with ordinary waste. Check the regulations in force.
The logo shaped like a waste bin indicates that this product must not be disposed of with household waste in any
EU country. To prevent any risk to the environment or human health due to uncontrolled scrapping, recycle the
product in a responsible manner. This will promote the sustainable use of material resources. To return your used
device, use the return and collection systems, or contact the original dealer. The dealer will recycle it in accordance
with regulatory provisions.

1. Installing the sensor
1.1 Activating the sensor

1.3 Changing the battery
Open the back of the sensor with a
crosshead screwdriver and remove the
battery tab.
1.2. Attaching the holder
Using the screw provided, attach the magnetic holder to the wall
in a passageway where the sensor will be activated.
Once the sensor is correctly linked to the DiO receiver(s) (module,
socket, doorbell, etc.) – see paragraph 2, attach it to the holder
and adjust it, ensuring that the 2 small marks at the bottom on the
back are pointing down (see illustration 3).
We recommend placing the sensor at a height of 1.5 m and not placing it opposite a window or
other source of heat, or on anything that moves, such as a door, window, etc.
When the battery is low, the sensor LED will begin to ash once every 4 seconds.
To change the battery:
1. Open the back of the sensor with a crosshead screwdriver.
2. To remove the old battery, gently push the notch towards the inside of
the battery with a small at-blade screwdriver to raise it.
3. Replace with a new CR2450 battery. With the + on top, push the metal
tab towards the outside and place the battery in its holder.
4. Ret the holder behind the sensor.
Caution: Danger of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly.
Replace only by the same type or equivalent type.
2. Linking the sensor with a DiO 1.0 module, socket, bulb or
doorbell
This product is compatible with all DiO 1.0 peripherals operating under the DiO 1.0 radio
protocol, and with the DiO Smart Home main unit for control through your smartphone.
Using the DiO main unit, you can control your home wherever you are through your
smartphone and also make your DiO 1.0 sensor compatible with DiO 2.0 peripherals. For

Warning: the motion sensor is not compatible with dimmer products (DiO dimmer module
or dimmable bulb).
2.1 Linking the sensor with the receiver
1. Press the learn button of the receiver (socket, module or bulb). The receiver LED ashes.
2. Put the sensor in learn mode by pressing the "LEARN" button to link them.
3. After linking, take care not to move the sensor for 10-20 seconds.
The sensor can be linked to several DiO 1.0 sockets, modules or bulbs.
2.2 Setting the timer
A timer can be activated on the sensor so that the device (lighting module, bulb or socket)
switches o automatically after the allotted time.
The sensor has 4 timer settings: 5 seconds: 1, 5 or 10 minutes, which you can select by
simply turning the small wheel with a at-blade screwdriver.
Warning: the countdown timer only begins when the subject stops
moving; the lamp or device will therefore remain on as long as any
motion is detected.
2.3. Dening the brightness threshold
You can dene a brightness threshold to avoid the lamp being on while it is still daylight.
You can choose between:
• H: Detection day and night. The receiver is actuated regardless of the ambient brightness
(ideal for use with a doorbell or an alarm).
• M: Nightfall (< 20 lux). The receiver is actuated if the light is low.
• L: Night (< 10 lux). The receiver will only be actuated when it is dark.
After selecting the brightness threshold, please leave the sensor immobile for 15-20
seconds and keep it away from any source of direct light, so that it adjusts itself properly.
3. Deleting the link between the sensor and a DiO receiver
1. Set the receiver to “delete” mode (see receiver manual - module, socket, bulb or
doorbell).
2. Press the sensor “LEARN” button twice to delete the link.
3. Take care not to move the sensor for 10-20 seconds.

5. Troubleshooting
Receiver not activated:
- Check the polarity of the battery and/or that it is not at.
- Make sure that the sensor is linked to the receiver and that the receiver is connected
correctly.
- Check the timer settings and/or the brightness threshold.
- Make sure that the sensor is positioned correctly and/or that nothing is preventing
detection (dust, object in front of the lens, etc.)
The receiver is on all the time
- The sensor has perhaps been activated incorrectly. Adjust the position or angle of
the sensor to solve the problem.
- Each detection restarts the timer countdown, which may give the impression that
the timer is not working correctly. Change the location of the sensor to remedy this
problem.
Important: The range between the receiver and the sensor is 50 m, but this may be
reduced by the thickness of the walls or a currently wireless environment. Do not use in a
damp location.
Note: A light placed close to the sensor can inuence the brightness
and aect the conguration. For example, if a light is located close to
the sensor, even if it is night-time, the user must change the
brightness setting 'L' to 'M' to activate the linked receiver(s).

1.3 Cambiare la pila

usando un cacciavite a croce e slare la
linguetta all'altezza della pila.
1.2 Fissare il supporto
Fissare il supporto magnetico alla parete, utilizzando la vite in
dotazione, in un luogo di passaggio per consentire l'attivazione
del sensore.
Quando il sensore sarà correttamente collegato a uno o più
ricevitori DiO (modulo, presa, campanello, ecc.) – cfr. paragrafo 2 –
ssarlo e regolarlo sul supporto accertandosi che i due segni di
riferimento che si trovano sul retro, in basso, siano orientati verso il
basso (cfr. immagine 3).
Si consiglia di posizionare il sensore a un'altezza di 1,5 m e di non metterlo di fronte a un vetro
o a un'altra fonte di calore, e nemmeno su un supporto mobile (porta, nestra, ecc.).
Quando la batteria è scarica, il LED del sensore lampeggia una volta ogni 4 secondi.
Per cambiare la pila:
1. Aprire la parte posteriore del sensore con un cacciavite a croce;
2. Per rimuovere la pila scarica, spingere delicatamente con un piccolo
cacciavite a testa piatta nella tacca verso l'interno della pila e sollevarla;
3. Inserire una pila nuova di tipo CR2450, con il segno + rivolto verso
l'alto, spingere la linguetta metallica verso l'esterno e posizionare la pila
nel suo supporto;
4. Rimontare il supporto posteriore del sensore.
Attenzione: pericolo di esplosione se la batteria non viene sostituita
correttamente. Sostituisci solo con lo stesso tipo o tipo equivalente.
2. Collegamento del sensore a un modulo, una presa,
una lampadina o un campanello DiO 1.0
Questo prodotto è compatibile con tutte le periferiche DiO 1.0 che funzionano con il
protocollo radio DiO 1.0, oltre che con la centralina domotica DiO per eseguire il controllo
tramite smartphone.
La centralina DiO permette di controllare la propria casa da qualsiasi luogo tramite
smartphone e di rendere compatibile il sensore DiO 1.0 con le periferiche DiO 2.0. Maggiori

Attenzione: il sensore di movimento non è compatibile con i prodotti dimmerabili
(modulo dimmer DiO o lampadina a luminosità variabile).
2.1 Collegare il sensore al ricevitore
1. Premere il pulsante di apprendimento del ricevitore (presa, modulo o lampadina) e il LED
del ricevitore inizierà a lampeggiare.
2. Impostare il sensore in modalità apprendimento premendo il pulsante "LEARN" per
eettuare il collegamento
3. A collegamento avvenuto, accertarsi che il sensore resti immobile per 10-20 secondi.
Il sensore può essere collegato a più prese, moduli o lampadine DiO 1.0.
2.2 Impostare il timer
È possibile attivare un timer sul sensore anché il dispositivo (modulo di illuminazione,
lampadina o presa) si spenga automaticamente una volta trascorso il tempo impostato.
Il sensore permette di impostare il timer in 4 modi: 5 secondi, 1, 5 o 10 minuti, selezionabili
facendo semplicemente ruotare la rotellina con un cacciavite a testa piatta.
Attenzione: il conto alla rovescia ricomincia solo quando l'oggetto
smette di muoversi; la lampada o il dispositivo resteranno quindi accesi
no a quando verrà rilevato un movimento.
2.3. Denire la soglia di luminosità
Per evitare che la lampada resti accesa quando è ancora giorno, è possibile denire una
soglia di luminosità. È possibile scegliere tra:
• H: Rilevamento di giorno e notte. Il sensore si aziona indipendentemente dalla luminosità
dell'ambiente (ideale per azionare un campanello o un allarme);
• M: Crepuscolo (< 20 lux). Il sensore si aziona in caso di bassa luminosità;
• L: Notte (< 10 lux). Il sensore si aziona solo quando è buio.
Dopo aver scelto la soglia di luminosità, il sensore deve rimanere immobile per 15-20
secondi e lontano da fonti di luce diretta, anché la regolazione possa avvenire
correttamente.
3. Annullamento del collegamento tra il sensore e un ricevitore DiO
1. Impostare il ricevitore in modalità annullamento (consultare il manuale del ricevitore –
modulo, presa, lampadina o campanello).
2. Premere due volte il pulsante "LEARN" del sensore per annullare il collegamento.
3. Accertarsi che il sensore resti immobile per 10-20 secondi

5. Risoluzione dei problemi
Il ricevitore non si attiva:
- Vericare che la pila sia correttamente posizionata e che non sia scarica.
- Accertarsi che il sensore sia collegato al ricevitore e che quest'ultimo sia
correttamente connesso.
- Controllare i parametri del timer e/o della soglia di luminosità
- Accertarsi che il sensore sia posizionato correttamente e/o che nulla impedisca il
rilevamento (polvere, oggetti davanti alla lente, ecc.)
Il ricevitore resta sempre acceso:
- Il rilevatore potrebbe essere stato attivato in modo non corretto. Regolare la
posizione o l'angolazione del sensore per risolvere il problema.
- Ogni rilevamento fa ripartire il conto alla rovescia del timer, il che potrebbe far
pensare che il timer non stia funzionando correttamente. Spostare il sensore per
risolvere il problema.
Importante: La portata tra ricevitore e sensore è pari a 50 m, ma può essere ridotta dallo
spessore dei muri o dalla presenza di una rete wireless preesistente.
Non utilizzare in un ambiente umido.
Nota: La presenza di una lampada nelle vicinanze del sensore può
inuenzare la luminosità e l'impostazione dei parametri. Per esempio,
se una lampada si trova vicino al sensore, anche in piena notte,
l’utente dovrà modicare la luminosità da ‘L’ a ’M’ anché il o i
ricevitori collegati si attivino.
