The heating element (illustrated right) is
a unique all ceramic (Si

) product. It
uses complex multi-layer moulding and
sintering techniques.
The heating element is moulded in one
using injection casting machines; the
part is then sintered by air pressure.
Ring attachments are used for electrical
connections, then vacuum brazed.
The heating element of is then brazed
into a metal shell and made airtight. The
igniter has a much larger glowing portion
than anything currently available, giving a
better opportunity of ignition.
