1 SCOPE
The purpose of this procedure is to state rules and guidelines for installation of communication
equipment at the Construction Site.
This procedure is applicable for handling and installation of Central Equipment, Field
Equipment and Special Cables.
2 TERMINOLOGY
2.1 Abbreviations
AFC - Approved For Construction
C - Commissioning
MC - Mechanical Completion
PC - Pre-Commissioning
3 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
• Packing and Preservation instructions
• Equipment/ Cabinet Layout drawings
• External connection diagram
4 SAFETY REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
The construction work shall be executed in a safe and reliable way. Personnel shall observe and
follow all security rules and regulations. Applicable permissions shall be obtained from the
responsible person prior to start of any activity.
