LED Start/Stop and Pit Stop Lock/Unlock Timer Mode Button Remote Start/Stop Press the button twice to remote start the vehicle. Press the button twice again to stop the remote start. Button Lock/Unlock Press the Buttons button once lock or unlock the vehicle doors. and Timer Mode These buttons when pressed twice simultaneously, engage timer mode.
Button Pit Stop Press the button twice for Pit Stop mode (with engine running). using your system ➜ lock/unlock Press the button to remotely lock or unlock your vehicle. ➜ remote start Press the button twice to remotely start your vehicle. This feature makes it possible to warm up the engine, as well as adjust the interior temperature of the vehicle with the climate control system.
When you are ready to drive the vehicle: 1. Insert the ignition key and turn it to the ON (not the START) position. 2. Press the brake pedal. The remote start will shut down and the doors will lock 3 seconds later if ignition controlled locking is programmed on. note: If the brake pedal is pressed before the key is in the ON position, the engine will shut down.
➜ timer mode This feature allows you to remotely start and run your vehicle for 12-minutes every 3 hours (for a maximum of 6 starts for cold weather conditions). This feature makes it possible to automatically warm up the engine and vehicle interior when temperatures are extremely cold. If interior heating or cooling is desired, the climate controls must be preset, and the fan blower must be set to the desired level prior to remote starting the vehicle.

If the engine fails to start on 3 attempts it is counted as one start in timer mode.
