A RS2-4R monitors the connected fiber optic lines for breaks in
accordance with the IEEE 802.3 100BASE-FX standard.
If a line interruption occurs the switch sends a trap to the management
station. The sending of such a trap can be stopped by the management.
4.2.6 Reset
The RS2-4R is reset by the following events:
D Management
D Insufficient level of both input voltages
D internal supply voltage falls below the threshold value,
D Watchdog
The following actions are carried out after a reset:
D Self-diagnosis
D Initialization
