6 Troubleshooting
6 Troubleshooting
6.1 Before you send in the appliance
See if you can solve the problem yourself by
following the steps of the table below.
6.2 Accessories and spare parts

WARNING:
Danger of injury! Never use or charge a
defective appliance! Always switch off the
appliance and disconnect it from the mains
before starting troubleshooting .
Problem Possible cause / solution
The ap-
pliance
will not
start or
sudden-
ly stops
running.
The batteries are empty.
Charge the batteries (ZChapter
3.2, "Charging the batteries").
The overheating protection has
tripped (possibly due to blocked
suction channels, filters, or simi-
lar).
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Remove the cause of the over-
heating.
3. Wait for about 45 minutes. Af-
ter the appliance has cooled
off, you may switch it on again.
The batteries are fully charged.
Disconnect the mains adapter
from the socket and from the appli-
ance. Your hand-held vacuum
cleaner is now ready for use.

charging
indication
light is not
lit during
charging
The mains adapter is not plugged
in.
Check if the plug and the mains
adapter are fitted correctly in
their sockets (ZChapter 3.2,
"Charging the batteries").
On/off switch (" ") is in the "on"
position.
Switch off the appliance
(ZChapter 4.2, "Switching on
and off").
The appli-
ance
does not
pick up
dust
The dust container is full.
Empty / clean the dust container
(ZChapter 4.3, "Emptying the
dust container").
The filter is dirty.
Clean the filter (ZChapter 5.1,
"Cleaning the filter").
NOTE:
If you cannot solve the problem following
this table, please contact us, ZChapter 8.2,
"Warranty".
