Connecting the Battery
Using the wrong type of battery or charger could cause a re or
explosion, resulting in serious injury.
When attaching the negative (ground) wire, avoid contact with
the muer. Heat from the muer may melt the wiring creating a
re hazard.
Never modify the brush mower’s electrical system. Modifications
could ruin the electrical system and cause a fire. Never lift or carry
the battery by the cables or terminals. is can damage the battery
and possibly start a fire, resulting in serious injury. Lift and carry
the battery only by its case.
Connecting the Battery
e brush mower battery is shipped from the factory with the
negative ground wire detached.
1. Connect the negative wire to the negative terminal with the nut
and bolt on the battery with two 5/16” wrenches (see Figure 5).
