Even the highest quality lead acid batteries require lengthy
absorption and equalization stages to achieve a fully charged
state. Unlike flooded batteries, Discover AES LiFePO
4
batteries accept a charge at maximum inputs throughout
the charging process and don’t require “absorption” or
“equalization” overcharge stages. Those charging stages
waste energy, money and time, and the losses are further
compounded as lead acid batteries age.
