3.4 Channel Scan
S7000 provides with channel scan function in order to test the flatness and amplitude of TV system quickly.
Users can set up the limit value before channel scan (See Section 2: SETUP->CHANNEL->ANALOG
TV/DVB-C/DVB-T LIMIT). The scan graph of current user plan is displayed as Figure 3-36.

S7000 scans the whole channels according to the current user channel plan in the default case (Select user
channel plan, see Section 2: SETUP->MEASURE->SELECT USER PLAN.).
3.4.1 Parameters
 REF, reference level (30dBμV -120dBμV).
 ZOOM (×1, ×2, ×3, ×4, ×5).
 SCALE (1dB/, 2dB/, 5dB/, 10dB/).
3.4.2 Operation
 AUTO Press the key to adjust the reference level and scale automatically to get the best testing
result.
 HOLD/TRIG Hold or Trig the measurement.
 MARK/MARK* Users can press keys (LEFT/RIGHT) to move the marker after pressing the key to
active marker function. Refer to Figure 3-37.
