IMPORTANT During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly disappear. 7. Fill measuring cup with ¼ cup of batter. Fill one of the Mickey-shaped cooking reservoirs with a thin layer of batter, poured from the measuring cup. If using sticks, place 1 stick on each waffle, aligning stick in the notch on the side of the nonstick plate. Pour remaining batter over the top of the stick covering all exposed portions of the stick. Repeat in each of the Mickey-shaped cooking reservoirs. 8. Lower the lid using an oven mitt or pot holder. Press down slightly so the lid latch is secured.
WAFFLE BAKING HINTS AND SUGGESTIONS • Coat the bottom of each Mickey-shaped cooking reservoir with a thin layer of batter, add the wooden stick, and cover with remaining batter from provided measuring cup. • The recommended amount of waffle batter for each cooking reservoir is approximately ¼ cup. Use caution not to overfill the cooking reservoirs as sticks may be pushed out due to excess batter expanding.
Buttermilk Waffles Makes 16-18 Waffles Ingredients: • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 1 teaspoon baking soda • ½ teaspoon of salt RECIPES • • • 2 cups buttermilk ⅓ cup canola oil 2 eggs Directions: 1. Preheat Waffle Maker. 2. Mix all ingredients together. 3. Fill one of the Mickey-shaped cooking reservoirs with a thin layer of batter, poured from the measuring cup.
