SETUP MENU (CONTINUED)
Press the SETUP button 1 to enter the Setup Menu. Press
the Navigation (
¨) button 2 to select the Main menus ( ),
then press the OK/ENTER button 3. Select the parental
icon using the Navigation (
Ã,¨) buttons 2, then press the
OK/ENTER button 3.

Press the OK/ENTER button 1 again to select PARENTAL
LEVEL, then enter your password using the Number
buttons 2. The default password is 1234.

PARENTAL
The Parental option enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on a DVD. It reads the
ratings for programming, then denies access to programming if the program’
s rating meets the limitations you selected. In
this case, the user will have to enter a password.
Once the password has been entered, press the
OK/ENTER button 1 again to select PARENTAL LEVEL;
the Parental Level screen will appear. Use the Navigation
(¹,) buttons 2 to select the desired rating.

Press the OK/ENTER button 1 to select the rating; the
desired rating will then be set, and if DVDs with this new
rating or above are played, the user will have to enter a
password.
Press the SETUP button 2 to exit the menu.

Follow steps 1 and 2 above. Once the password has been
entered, select CHANGE using the Navigation (¹,)
buttons
1 and press the OK/ENTER button 2 to select it.

buttons 1, then press the OK/ENTER button 2 to confirm.
Press the SETUP button 3 to exit the menu.
