T-Class equipment pads meet the 4” height requirement of the
Florida Building Code, Mechanical Volume,effectiveMarch2003.
Section 304.7 Clearance from grade.
Equipment and
appliances installed at grade level shall be supported on a
level concrete slab or other approved material extending
above adjoining grade a minimum of 4 inches (102mm).
Suspended equipment and appliances shall be installed a
minimum of 6 inches (152 mm) above adjoining grade.

intent
of the Florida Building Code, Chapter 16, with respect to wind
resistance. Method of attachment tested per ASCE 7.
DiversiTech’s CladLite

pads have been declared by the Florida
Building Commission to be an acceptable alternative material
to solid concrete slabs for use in specific applications from
Tallahassee to Miami. Approval of the pad is within the discretion
