Using the Remote Controller
Powering On/Off
Press the power button once to check the current battery level. Press once, then again, and hold
to power the remote controller on or off. If the battery level is too low, recharge before use.
Charging the Battery
Use a USB-C cable to connect an AC power charger to the USB-C port of the remote controller. It
takes approximately four hours to fully charge the remote controller.
Controlling the Gimbal and Camera
1. Shutter/Record Button: Press once take a photo or to start or stop recording.
2. Photo/Video Toggle: Press once to switch between photo and video mode.
3. Gimbal Dial: Use to control the tilt of the gimbal.
Controlling the Aircraft
The control sticks control the aircraft’s orientation (pan), forward/ backward movement (pitch),
altitude (throttle), and left/right movement (roll). The control stick mode determines the function
of each control stick movement. Three preprogrammed modes (Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3) are
available and custom modes can be configured in DJI Fly. The default mode is Mode 2.
