Mounting the Upward Gimbal and GPS Module
The built-in compass and GPS will fail to work if a single upward gimbal is in use. And the D-RTK
antennas cannot receive the GPS signal when the aircraft is flying under a bridge or other tall
buildings. It is recommended to mount the extended GPS module when a single upward gimbal is
in use in situations like this.

On the M210 the GPS module can be mounted on either side of the aircraft. On the M210 RTK the
GPS module must be installed on the aircraft’s left side (your right hand side when you are facing
the aircraft’s nose). Before installing the GPS module on the aircraft’s left side it is necessary to re-
orient the GPS antenna so that the arrow on the antenna is pointing forward. Re-orient the GPS
antenna as follows:
1. Remove the four screws (highlighted in the gure below) that secure the antenna in place.
2. Rotate the GPS antenna 180°.
3. Re-insert and tighten the four screws.
