Thank you for purchasing DME’s CVe Monitor
TM
The data being collected on the device can be obtained by two methods:
Manually: By pressing the mode button on the front of the unit, you can move
through the different display features as shown below:
Via Reports: By using the CVe OnDemand software, a report can be run
to show data broken down into weekly sessions, graphically representing
the mold’s productivity.
Additional information regarding the CVe Monitor:
When received, the Monitor is in a shelf mode. To activate, press
the mode button and “Ready” will appear.
The display will remain on for 24 hours after the mode button is
pushed. This allows users to test the tool and see the display roll
through Cycles, Cycle Time, and Cycle Time-Recent modes.
The unit is provided at -25 to allow cycle counts for set-up and
testing. Once the Monitor reaches 0, all internal timers and cycle
counts will be reset.
When the Monitor begins plunging to 1, it begins its timing for
tracking into the reports, including idle time and sleep time
reporting.
After 24 hours of active use (plunging) in a tool, the display will go
off to conserve battery life.

Cycle Time
Sincrst production cycle, the cycle time is shown
in seconds for the life of the counter.
Cycle Count
Total cycles for the life of the counter is presented on
the main screen of the CounterView.
Cycle Time-Recent
Cycle time for the past 25,000 cycles,
shown in seconds.
Activity Percentage
The total amount of time the counter is in production
yields a percentage when compared to the total time it
could have been in production (up time plus idle time,
without time spent outside of the press.)
Activity Percentage-Recent
The percentage of activity for only the past
25,000 cycles.
Cycle Count Reset
Provides a meter for interim cycle counts that can be
reset to 0 at any time while on the mold.
Battery Life
Shows the percentage of battery life remaining. At 5%,
the displantermittently to warn the molder to
replace the unit.
