Connect your Harmony device
❶ Please refer to the Regulatory and Safety information sheet
included with your Harmony device before proceeding.
❷ Adjust the volume on your display or speaker system down
completely (off). Then power off your system and old music player. You’ll
be prompted to increase the volume in step ❽.
❸ Disconnect the power and remove all cables from the old player.
❹ Remove the old player and its power supply.
❺ Place your Harmony device in a manner that is consistent with the
safety instructions and that allows adequate ventilation space.
❻ Connect the cables in this order:
A: The 3.5mm a/v plug to the Harmony A/V jack, then the color
coded (red and white) RCA connectors to the corresponding audio
zone(s) for your speaker/visual system. (note: yellow is for Composite
video).
B: The Ethernet cable to your Harmony and to your available
Ethernet port then, if applicable, the HDMI cable to your Harmony
device and to your display.
C: The 5.5mm plug of the external power adapter (use only the
power adapter provided with your Harmony device).
