Make sure that the ON/Standby switch of the

printer unit is set to Standby�

Make sure that the power switch of the

computer is set to OFF�

Plug the connector of the power cord

(supplied) into the printer power inlet�

Plug the power cord into an outlet�

Connect the printer and the computer with a

USB cable�

Set the ON/Standby switch of the printer unit

and the power switch of the computer to ON�

Caution

• Use the power cable supplied with the printer, and be sure to connect the ground wire�

• Use a shielded USB cable compatible with the USB 2�0 specifications� Otherwise

unexpected troubles may arise�
