The Doc-Box® Mounting Instructions
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended that the Doc-Box® be mounted level and perpendicular to the ground on a sturdy 4” x 4” post
employing the included hardware and mounting holes, with suggested above ground height of 5’-9”, In order for
the lid to open correctly, the top of the mounting post should fit under the “post stop guide” on the back of the
Doc-Box® so that the post doesn’t interfere with the back of the lid when opened. The Doc-Box® will protect its
contents from all weather when kept closed and posted correctly, incorrect posting near sprinklers, units
mounted on leaning posts, or units left lying on the ground may comprise contents.
HOW TO CLOSE THE DOC-BOX® LID
Close the lid down, apply pressure to the two formed ridges at the bottom of the box then apply pressure until it
snaps shut. You will hear it snap shut! This guarantees the protection of your documents
CLEANING AND CARE
The Doc-Box® is made of a rugged material called (HDPE), and will withstand most abuse. The Doc-Box® should
only be written on with a grease pencil (also called a china marker) and can be cleaned with light oil solvent (such
as WD-40®) for next use or periodically cleaned with any household spray cleaner.
DAMAGE
IMPORTANT!!! Upon receiving The Doc-Box® order, remove the unit(s) from its carton(s) and inspect for damage
which may have occurred during shipment. If damage is found, immediately notify the shipping company, within
three business days.
