DE90302F Mooring Snubber
Mooring snubber
9.5-11 mm (3/8” - 7/16”)
Tensile strength test:
300 New Huntington Road, Woodbridge, ON
Canada, L4H 0R4 www.dockedge.com
Thread the cord through the holes and draw the snubber to the required
position on the cord. If necessary apply soap to ease the fitting.
For secure and cushioned mooring of smaller
boats up to 6m (20ft) in length, and designed
for a line diameter of 9.5-11mm (3/8”- 7/16”).
The snubber is tested with a 11mm (7/16”) line with 3
turns of winding. The graph shows the extension in
comparison to the load.
The forces the line is exposed for, is taken up by the
elongation of the mooring snubber. A large elongation
reduces the load on the line and the boat’s brackets.
New design for easier assembly.
Secure rope attachment with clamp lock.
Produced of high quality EPDM rubber.
Resistant to weather, ozone and salt water.
2.
Wind the cord 2-3 times round the snubber.
3.
Finish by threading the cord through the other end of the snubber.
