 You can select phrase by Kanji characters
and words in English for Tap search.
 Requirements for character recognition in
Tap search are as follows:
• Supported character type
Kanji character and alphabet in black color
on white background color
• Recommended font size
between 20 and 40 dots
1 Open the status bar and tap
.
• appears in the status bar, and then
Tap search mode is set.
■ Quitting Tap search mode
→ r.
2 Tap the Kanji string or
alphabet string you want to
search by on the screen.
• The string is displayed.
■ To search by the displayed string
→ "OK"
■ To retry
→ "Retry"
■ To edit the displayed string
→ Tap the text box → edit the string →
"OK"
NOTE
Some applications may be not displayed
correctly in Tap search mode.
Application Screen
The application screen shows a list of the
applications installed in the FOMA terminal.
The application screen can show a list of
widgets placeable on the Home screen, too.
Launching an application
1 From the Home screen, .
• You can scroll up or down by dragging
or flicking the screen up or down.
2 Tap an icon.
• The application for the tapped icon
opens.
NOTE
You can place a shortcut icon of the
application on the Home screen by touching
and holding the application icon.
● Placing a widget to the Home
screen from the widget list screen
1 Tap "Widgets" in the
Applications screen.
2 Tap the icon of a widget.
• The preview screen appears.
3 "Add to Home screen"
• The widget is placed onto the Home
screen.
