6. ONE BASEMENT HEAT PUMP PLUS ONE GAS

FURNACE

To configure one basement heat pump plus one gas

furnace, all Dip switches are OFF. The ambient

sensor is plugged into the proper connector (red).

115VAC, 12VDC, two thermostat wires from the

furnace and telephone cable communications line are

properly connected to the AC power module in the

unit's electrical box.

NOTE: If a remote sensor is used, it must be plugged

into the P4 (white) connector.

Improper connections can cause

component damage.

Typical installation for one com-

fort zone with basement heat

pump and one furnace. Comfort

control may serve as a room

temperature sensor, or a remote

sensor may be used.
