1.0 VORWORT Mit dem Absorber Kühlschrank von Dometic haben Sie eine gute Wahl getroffen. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass Sie ihr neues Gerät in jeder Hinsicht voll zufrieden stellen wird. Dieser Kühlschrank entspricht hohen Qualitätsanforderungen und gewährleistet einen effizienten Umgang mit Ressourcen und Energien im gesamten Lebenslauf - bei Herstellung, Nutzung und Entsorgung. Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie bitte die Installations- und Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch.
3.0 GARANTIE UND KUNDENDIENST Garantieabwicklungen erfolgen nach der EC Directive 44/1999/CE und den landesüblichen Bedingungen. Im Garantie- oder Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Kundendienst. Störungen, die auf fehlerhafte Bedienung zurückzuführen sind, unterliegen nicht der Garantie.
5.2 Bedienen des Kühlschrankes Das Kühlschrankaggregat arbeitet geräuschlos. Bei Erstinbetriebnahme des Gerätes kann es zu einer Geruchsbildung kommen, die sich nach einigen Stunden verflüchtigt. Den Wohnraum gut durchlüften. Der Kühlschrank erreicht seine Betriebstemperatur nach einigen Stunden, wobei das Tiefkühlfach etwa nach einer Stunde kalt werden sollte. 5.2.1 Bedienelemente A. 5.2.2 Betrieb mit Strom 1. Gleichspannung 12V Der Kühlschrank ist nur bei laufendem Motor über das Bordnetz zu betreiben. Den Energiewahlschalter (A) auf 12 V stellen. A Der Kühlschrank arbeitet ohne thermostatische Regelung (Dauerbetrieb). 2. Wechselspannung Diese Betriebsart ist nur zu wählen, wenn die Spannungsversorgung des Stromanschlusses mit dem auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Wert übereinstimmt. Bei abweichenden Werten kann das Gerät beschädigt werden. A 5.2.3 1.
1. Manuelle Zündung 1. Öffnen Sie das Ventil der Gasflasche . 2. Öffnen Sie danach den Absperrhahn der Gasversorgung für den Kühlschrank. Manuelle Zündung mit Piezo-Zünder : 3. 5.2.4 Einstellen der Kühlraumtemperatur B Wie gezeigt, können Sie über den Drehknopf (B) die Kühlraumtemperatur bedarfsgemäß regeln. Mittelstellung Umgebungsbedingungen beeinflussen die Leistung des Aggregates. Wählen Sie bei Umgebungstemperaturen zwischen +15°C und +25°C die Mittelstellung. Das Aggregat arbeitet im optimalen Leistungsbereich. Dometic Kühlschränke arbeiten nach dem Absorptionsprinzip.
5.4 Eiswürfelbereitung Eiswürfel werden am besten nachts gefroren. Nachts ist der Kühlschrank weniger belastet und das Aggregat hat mehr Reserven. 1. Eisschale mit Trinkwasser füllen. 2. Eisschale ins Frosterfach stellen. Nur Trinkwasser verwenden! 5.5 Ablageroste positionieren Ausbau: 2. 1. 1. Vordere und hintere Sicherungsklammer lösen. 2. Ablagerost nach links schieben und nach oben herausnehmen. Der Einbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge. 5.
5.7 Abtauen Mit der Zeit bildet sich Reif auf den Kühlrippen. Wenn die Reifschicht etwa 3 mm beträgt, sollte der Kühlschrank abgetaut werden. 1. Den Kühlschrank abschalten, wie unter Punkt “5.9 ABSCHALTEN” beschrieben. 2. Eisschale und Lebensmittel herausnehmen. 3. Die Kühlschranktür geöffnet lassen. 4. Nach dem Abtauen (Frosterfach und Kühlrippen frei von Reif) den Schrank mit einem Tuch trocken wischen. 5. Das Tauwasser im Frosterfach mit einem Tuch aufnehmen. 6.
5.9 Abschalten A Parkstellung 1. Den Energiewahlschalter “A” auf Position “OFF” stellen. Das Gerät ist komplett abgeschaltet! 2. Die Tür mit Hilfe der Türarretierung fixieren. Die Tür ist dadurch einen Spalt weit geöffnet, um Schimmelbildung im Gerät zu vermeiden. Abschalten Gasbetrieb! Wird der Kühlschrank für längere Zeit außer Betrieb genommen, bordseitiges Absperrventil und das Flaschenventil schließen. 5.
5.12 Wechsel der Dekorplatte 1. Tür öffnen und Scharnierschraube lösen. 2. Tür nach oben wegnehmen. 3. Abdeckleiste ( 3 Schrauben) abschrauben. 4. Dekorplatte herausziehen und neue Dekorplatte einschieben. 5. Abdeckleiste anschrauben. 6. Tür einsetzen.
5.13 Türanschlag wechseln Es ist nicht immer möglich, den Türanschlag im eingebauten Zustand des Gerätes zu wechseln. 1. Tür öffnen, Scharnierschraube lösen und aufbewahren. 2. Tür nach oben wegnehmen. 6. 7. 3. 4. 8. Scharnierschraube einschrauben. 5. Tür aufsetzen.
5.14 Verhalten bei Störungen Bevor Sie den autorisierten Kundendienst anrufen kontrollieren Sie bitte, ob: 1. die Anweisungen im Abschnitt “Einschalten des Kühlschrankes” befolgt wurden. 2. der Kühlschrank waagerecht steht. 3. es möglich ist, den Kühlschrank mit einer vorhandenen Energiequelle zu betreiben. Störung : Der Kühlschrank funktioniert nicht im Gasbetrieb. Mögliche Ursache Selbsthilfe a.) Gasflasche ist leer. a.) Gasflasche tauschen. b.
5.15 Wartung Arbeiten an Gas- und Elektroeinrichtungen dürfen nur von einem zugelassenen Fachmann ausgeführt werden. Es empfiehlt sich, diese von einer autorisierten Kundendienststelle ausführen zu lassen. Nach den geltenden Vorschriften wird darauf hingewiesen, dass die Gasanlage und die angeschlossenen Abgasführungen vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme sowie nach Ablauf von jeweils zwei Jahren von einem autorisierten Sachkundigen auf Einhaltung der Europäischen Norm EN 1949 zu prüfen sind.

6.0 EINBAUANLEITUNG Beim Einbau des Gerätes müssen die technischen und administrativen Vorschriften des Landes, in dem das Fahrzeug zum ersten Mal zugelassen wird, beachtet werden. Ansonsten sind die Einbauvorschriften des Herstellers zu beachten. In Europa z.B. müssen Gasgeräte, Leitungsverlegung, Gasflaschenaufstellung sowie Abnahme und Dichtheitsprüfung der EN 1949 für Flüssiggasanlagen in Fahrzeugen entsprechen. 6.
6.1.2 Seitlicher Einbau mit Boden-Dach-Ventilation Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist, die Ventilation des Kühlschranks über eine Belüftungsöffnung im Boden und eine Entlüftungseinrichtung auf dem Dach des Fahrzeugs herbeizuführen (siehe Abb. 3). Zwischen Oberkante Kühlschrank und Dachentlüftung muss ein Kamin eingerichtet sein, der Warmluft die Warmluft und ggf. die Abgase des Kühlschrankaggregates direkt zur Dachentlüftung leitet.
6.2 Zugdichter Einbau Kühlgeräte in Wohnwagen, Reisemobilen oder sonstigen Fahrzeugen müssen zugdicht eingebaut sein (EN 1949). Das bedeutet, dass die Verbrennungsluft für den Gasbrenner nicht aus dem Wohnraum entnommen wird und die Abgase am direkten Eintritt in den Wohnraum gehindert werden. In keinem Fall soll der zugdichte Einbau des Kühlschranks mit Dichtungsmassen oder Verschäumung (z. B. Montageschaum) o. ä. erfolgen.
Die obere Winterabdeckung ist in diesem Fall bei Gasbetrieb nicht anzubringen! Sollte trotz zugdichtem Einbau ein Abgaskamin gewünscht werden, bauen Sie in die obere Belüftungsöffnung das Belüftungssystem L100 mit Abgasführung ein. Einbau Abgaskamin siehe Punkt 6.7 Abweichungen bedürfen der Zustimmung des Herstellers. 6.
6.4 Einbau Lüftungssystem L 200 L 100 Zum Einbau der Belüftungsgitter werden zwei rechteckige Ausschnitte in der Größe von 451 mm x 156 mm in der Fahrzeugaussenwand angebracht. (Lage der Ausschnitte siehe Punkt 6.3) Pkt. 1 entfällt beim Einbaurahmen mit integrierter Dichtung. 1. Einbaurahmen wasserundurchlässig abdichten. 2. Rahmen einsetzen ... ... und anschrauben. 3. Lüftungsgitter einsetzen. 4. Lüftungsgitter verriegeln. 5. Einsatz für Abgasführung einclipsen.
6.5 Einbaunische Das Kühlgerät muss in eine Nische zugdicht eingebaut werden. Die Abmessungen der Nische sind aus der nachstehenden Tabelle abzulesen. Die Stufe A wird nur bei Stufenschränken benötigt. Das Gerät wird in die Nische soweit eingeschoben, bis Vorderkante des Kühlschrankgehäuses und Vorderkante Nische fluchten. Zwischen Nischenrückwand und Kühlschrankaggregat sollen 15-20 mm Freiraum sein! Der Nischenboden muss eben sein, sodass das Gerät sich leicht in seine richtige Lage einschieben lässt.
6.7 Abgasführung Die Abgasführung muss so gestaltet sein, dass die vollständige Ableitung der Verbrennungsprodukte nach außerhalb des Wohnraumes sichergestellt ist. Die Abgasleitung muss stetig steigend geführt werden, um eine Ansammlung von Kondensat zu vermeiden. Eine nicht fachgerechte Installation vermindert die Kühlleistung und gefährdet die Gewährleistung. 6.7.1 Montage Abgaskamin im oberen Lüftungsgitter min. 10 mm max. 20 mm 1. T-Stück (E) auf den Adapter (F), bzw.
6.7.2 Separate Abgasführung min. 10 mm max. 20 mm Ausschnitt: 80 mm hoch 40 mm breit 1. Ausschnitt 80 x 40 mm in die Wohnwagenaußenwand (I) schneiden. Die Lage des Ausschnittes ist dem jeweiligem Kühlschrankmodell und den Einbauverhältnissen anzupassen. 2. T-Stück (E) auf den Adapter (F), bzw. auf das Abgasrohr (K) aufstecken und mit der Schraube (G) fixieren. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass der Heizverteiler (H) in der dafür vorgesehenen Position sitzt. 3. Abgasrohr kpl. (C) durch die Öffnung stecken.
Der Gasanschluss an das Gerät erfolgt mittels einer Schneidring- (Ermeto-) Verschraubung L8, DIN 2353-ST nach der Europäischen Norm EN 1949. Der Gasanschluss darf nur von einem autorisierten Fachmann ausgeführt werden! Nach fachgerechter Installation ist eine Dichtheitsprüfung und eine Flammprobe gemäß EN 1949 von einem autorisierten Fachmann* durchzuführen. Über die Prüfung ist eine Bescheinigung auszustellen.
6.9 Elektrische Installation Die elektrische Installation darf nur von einem autorisierten Fachmann ausgeführt werden! Die elektrische Installation muss nach den nationalen Ländervorschriften erfolgen (für Europa EN 60335-2-24). Die Anschlusskabel müssen so verlegt sein, dass sie mit heissen Teilen des Aggregates / Brenners oder mit scharfen Kanten nicht in Berührung kommen. 1.0 INTRODUCTION You have made an excellent choice in selecting the Dometic Absorption Refrigerator. We are sure that you will be fully satisfied with your new appliance in all respects. The appliance, which works silently, meets high quality standards and guarantees the efficient utilisation of resources and energy throughout its entire life cycle, during manufacture, in use and when being disposed of.
3.0 WARRANTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Warranty arrangements are in accordance with EC Directive 44/1999/CE and the normal conditions applicable for the country concerned. For warranty or other servicing, please contact our Dometic Service department. Any damage due to improper use is not covered by the warranty.
5.2 Using the refrigerator The cooling unit is silent in operation. When the appliance is first put into operation, there may be a mild odour which will disappear after a few hours. Ensure the living area is well venti lated. The refrigerator will take several hours to reach its operating temperature in the cooling compartment. The freezer compartment should be cold about one hour after switching on the refrigerator. 5.2.1 Controls A. Manual ignition “Piezo” (e.g.
5.2.2 Electrical operation 1. 12V DC The refrigerator should only be used while the motor is running. A Set energy selector switch (A) to 12 V . The refrigerator operates without thermostatic control (continuous operation). 2. Mains power This option should only be selected where the supply voltage of the connection for power supply corresponds to the value specified on the data plate. 5.2.4 Temperature setting cooling compartment B As shown, you are able to regulate the temperature of the cooling compartment, if necessary, by turning rotary knob (B) middle position The cooling unit’s performance is influenced by ambient temperatures. At ambient temperatures of +15°C up to +25°C, set the knob B to the middle position. The cooling unit works with optimal performance. Dometic refrigerators work according to the absorption principle.
5.4 Making ice cubes Ice cubes are best frozen overnight. At night, the refrigerator has less work to do and the unit has more reserves. 1. Fill the ice cube tray with drinking water. 2. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer compartment. Only use drinking water! 5.5 Positioning the storage rack Dismantling: 2. 1. 1. Loosen the front and back securing brackets. 2. Move the storage rack to the left and remove it. To fit the storage rack, the reverse order applies. 5.
5.7 Defrosting As time goes by, frost builds up on the fins. When the layer of frost is about 3mm thick, the refrigerator should be defrosted. 1. Switch off the refrigerator, as described in Section 5.9 - "Switching off". 2. Remove the ice cube tray and food. 3. Leave the refrigerator door open. 4. After defrosting (freezer compartment and fins free of frost), wipe the cabinet dry with a cloth. 5. Use a cloth to mop up the water from the freezer compartment. 6. Switch the refrigerator back on again.
5.9 Switching off A park position 1. Set energy selector switch (A) to position "0" (OFF). The appliance is now fully switched off. 2. Secure the door open by means of the door stop. The door will be slightly ajar. This is to prevent mould from forming inside the appliance. Abschalten Gasbetrieb! 5.12 Changing the decor panel 1. Open the door and loosen the hinge screw. 2. Take off the door by moving it upwards. 4. Remove the decor plate and insert a new decor plate. 5. Screw the door strip back in position. 3. Unscrew the door strip (3 screws). 6. Put the door back on.
5.13 Changing the doorhang It is not always possible to change the door when the refrigerator is installed. 1. Open the door, unscrew the hinge screw and keep it to hand. 2. Take off the door by moving it upwards. 6. 7. 3. 4. 8. Screw the hinge screw back in. 5. Attach the door.
5.14 Troubleshooting Before calling the authorised Service Department, please check whether: 1. The instructions in the section "Using the refrigerator" have been followed. 2. The refrigerator is not tilted excessiveley. 3. It is possible to operate the refrigerator with an available power source. Failure : The refrigerator does not work in gas operation mode. 5.15 Maintenance Works on gas components and electical installation may only be carried out by authorised personnel. We recommend to contact your Dometic Service Centre. EN 1949 stipulates that the appliance´s gas equipment and it’s associated fume system must be inspected after installation and a certificate issued. Afterwards a qualified technician must inspect according to EN 1949 every two years and a certificate issued. It is the user’s responsibily to arrange for inspections after purchase.

6.0 INSTALLATION GUIDE On installation of the appliance, the technical and administrative regulations of the country in which the vehicle will first be used must be adhered to. Otherwise the refrigerator must be installed as described in these instructions. In some OEM applications it may not be possible for these instructions to be followed exactly.
6.1.2 Side installation with floor-roof ventilation It is also possible to perform ventilation of the refrigerator via an aperture in the floor and a roof ventilation (see fig. 3). A flue has to be provided between the top edge of the refrigerator and the roof ventilation which directs the hot air and the exhausts straight to the air vent in the roof. hot air The opening in the floor must have a cross section of at least 250cm². 6.2 Draught-free installation The refrigerator must be sealed in accordance with EN 1949. Illustrated below are two typical approved methods of sealing. Do NOT use any easily inflammable materials (in particular silicone sealing agent or similar) for sealing! The device manufacturer's product liability and guarantee shall lapse if such materials are used. Proposal 1: Using the Installation Sealing Kit from Dometic (SP.No.
In this case, for gas operation, do not use the upper winter cover! If even with draught-free installation a fume chimney is desirable, you must incorporte the L100 ventilation and extraction system into the upper air vent opening. Installation of fume chimney: please refer to point 6.7. Deviations shall require the consent of the manufacturer. 6.
6.4 Installing the ventilation system L 200 L 100 To install the ventilation grilles, cut two rectangles (451mm x 156mm) in the outer wall of the vehicle (for position of the cuts, see point 6.3). Item 1 does not apply for installation framess with an integrated seal. 1. Seal the mounting frame, making it waterproof. 2. Insert the frame ... ... and screw into position. 3. Insert the ventilation grilles. 4. Lock the ventilation grilles. 5.
6.5 Installation recess The refrigerator must be installed draught-free in a recess. The measurements of the recess are given in the table below. Step (A) is only required for cabinets with a step. Push the appliance far enough into the recess until the front edge of the refrigerator casing is flush with the front of the recess. Allow a gap of 15-20 mm between the back wall of the recess and the refrigeration unit.
6.7 Fume extraction Fume extraction must be arranged in such a way as to provide complete extraction of all products of combustion to an area outside the living area. The flue system must slope in an upward direction in order to avoid a build-up of condensation. An installation that is not carried out by qualified persons causes a reduction in the cooling capacity and will jeopardize the manufacturer's guarantee. 6.7.1 Fitting the fume flue in the upper ventilation grille min. 10 mm max. 20 mm 1.
6.7.2 Separate fume extraction min. 10 mm max. 20 mm Cut: 80mm high 40mm wide 1. Cut an 80mm x 40mm rectangle in the outer wall of the caravan. The position of the cut must be appropriate to the particular model of refrigerator and installation conditions. 2. Connect T-piece (E) to adaptor (F) or flue pipe (K) as required and affix with screw (G). Ensure that heat distributor (H) is lodged in the correct position. 3. Insert flue pipe (C) through the aperture. 4. Connect flue pipe (C) to T-piece (E).
The gas connection to the appliance is effected by means of a suitable coupling tube fitting L8, DIN 2353-ST, complying with European Standard EN 1949 (e.g. Ermeto). The gas connection may only be carried out by a qualified personnel. 6.9 Electrical installation Electrical installation may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
