What are the differences between water based and solvent based sealers?
DOMINATOR® Water-based sealers are more environmentally conscious than
solvent-based sealers. Water-based sealers have lower VOCs (Volatile Organic
Compounds that harm the ozone). They tend to be more forgiving in application
and how they wear. With a mild odor when being applied, water-based sealers
are less irritating to the applicator and homeowner.

How long does DOMINATOR® sealer last?
DOMINATOR® sealers will typically last 2-3 years, with the shine and color-
enhancement not lasting as long as the protective quality of the sealer. A variety
of factors influence the longevity of the sealer; sealer application, residential vs.
commercial, sun exposure, environmental conditions, volume of traffic, frequency
of cleaning and chemicals used. We add the most advanced UV additive on the
market to ensure longevity in the harshest environments.
